Toona ciliata M.Roem.

Deciduous medium to very large tree with spreading branches. Leaves paripinnate; leaflets 11–17, obliquely ovate-lanceolate, acuminate, 7–12 cm long, with very small indistinct sunken glands (domatia) in the forks of several of the primary veins on the undersurface of the leaves (Fig. 30). Panicles large, pyramidal, many-flowered. Petals white or pinkish, 5–6 mm long. Stamens 5, free. Fruit an oblong capsule 2–3 cm long. Seeds winged. Widespread. RF. Fl. Nov.–Dec. Red Cedar
