Leaves cylindrical to semi-cylindrical, usually twisted above, 15–60 cm long, 1–2 mm wide, with a few shreds at the base, often only 2 per shoot with several prominent scales below them. Male inflorescence a panicle, up to 15 cm long. Female inflorescence similar or a raceme. Flowers 1–3 mm long. Widespread. DSF
