Tree up to 30 m high; younger parts minutely pubescent. Leaves paripinnate; leaflets 5–9, oblong to elliptic, 7–15 cm long, acuminate. Flowers in axillary panicles. Calyx very short. Petals 4, c. 4 mm long, adnate to the staminal tube. Stamens 8; filaments connate. Ovary 3-locular, surrounded by and usually exceeding the tubular disc. Coast, Wyong northwards. RF. Rosewood
