Leaf bases truncate. Inflorescence unbranched. Leaves broad ovate to triangular, toothed or crenate, 1–5 cm long. Flowers 1 per axil. Calyx 4–7 mm long, corolla pink to purple, 8–10 mm long. Ovary glabrous. Erect to scrambling herb to 0.5 m high. Pasture & DSF. Fl. summer–autumn Teucrium argutum

Flowers in loose axillary pedunculate cymes which grade into a narrow terminal panicle, up to 10 flowers per axil. Calyx 3–5 mm long. Corolla white, 8–12 mm long. Ovary hairy. Erect, perennial herb up to 1 m high. Widespread. Open forests in sheltered situations. Fl. summer Teucrium corymbosum
