Branches with simple hairs which are not multicellular. Leaf bases cuneate to tapering
Corolla up to c. 5 mm long, pale purple. Leaves lanceolate to oblong, 2–7 cm long, serrate, minutely scabro-pubescent and sometimes glandular-viscid when young; bases usually cuneate. Perennial herb up to 1 m high. Blue Mts, e.g. Tuglow Caves. Often on limestone. Fl. spring–autumn Salvia plebeia
