Flowers crowded into leafless terminal heads which may be displaced by further growth of the main axis
Ovary 3-locular. Petals white, cream, pink or purple
Leaves distinctly 3-veined, oblanceolate to obovate, 3–9 mm long, 2–5 mm wide, concave. Sepals narrow-triangular, ± acuminate. Petals usually pink to purple but white in southern Blue Mts Floral tube villous at least at the base, longer than the ovary at flowering. Stamens 4–6 mm long. Capsule urceolate, 4 mm long, 2.5 mm wide. Erect or ascending shrub up to 1.5 m high. Widespread. Heath and DSF. Ss. Fl. spring–summer Kunzea capitata
