Plants hirsute towards the base. Lower leaves obovate to oblanceolate, hirsute, up to 80 mm long. Sepals 2–6 mm long. Corolla lobes 6–19 mm long, tube 2–6 mm long. Capsule obconic 3–10 mm long, glabrous or hairy. Tufted perennial up to 80 cm high, with few stems from the base but branching above. Blue Mts Open forests. Fl. most of the year
