Herbs with a perennial rootstock. Leaves dissected, 3–5-partite; the segments often twice tri-fid with acute lobes. Flowers very small, white. Umbels simple, usually c. 15 mm diam., on terminal or axillary peduncles. Calyx teeth minute. Fruit laterally compressed, usually flat, notched at the base, without vittae.
