Climber or twiner. Leaves opposite, ovate to broad-ovate, up to 5 cm long and 3 cm wide, acute to acuminate, pubescent, cordate, margins entire or toothed. Flowers axillary, on long peduncles, enclosed by 2 large ovate bracteoles. Calyx 10–15-lobed. Corolla campanulate, 2–3 cm diam., yellow-orange with a dark throat, 5-lobed. Coast.
