Stipules of younger branches connate for c. half their length, but sometimes splitting with age. Leaves 10–40 mm long, fleshy. Petals pink grading to white at the base, or entirely white. Capsule narrowly ovoid. Seed usually not winged. Coast. Saline wetland areas. Probably native. Fl. spring
