Leaves linear to lanceolate, 6–10 cm long, 8–15 mm wide, with a cuneate base, under surface with scattered spreading hairs sometimes with wispy extensions, serrate or sinuate on the margin. Heads numerous, in a terminal corymb. Pappus 6–9 mm long. Shrub up to 1 m high. Widespread from Barrington Tops the Saddleback Mountain. Open forests. Fl. most of the year
