Perennial herb. Leaves alternate, linear, to 3.5 cm long, c. 2 mm wide; margins revolute. Heads solitary, c. 20 mm diam. Involucre bracts in several rows, 3–10 mm long, outer bracts shortest. Receptacle naked. Florets mostly bisexual, outer ones female. Corolla yellow, 5 lobed and the tube longer than involucre. Cypsela papillose, 1–1.5 mm long. Pappus of ciliate, elliptic scales 1.5–2 mm long. Northern parts of the area. Coastal heath. Vulnerable
