Leaves thick, 3 primary segments each with 3–5 lobes, rarely entire. Flowers 15–28 mm diam.. Petals c. 5, narrow-elliptic, up to 4 mm wide. Achenes smooth or wrinkled, 12–36, 2–4 mm long. Erect perennial up to 30 cm. Higher Blue Mts Damp places. Fl. summer
