Psilotum nudum (L.) Beauv.

Sporophytes 15–60 cm long, pendulous or erect. Stems and branches triquetrous with the leaves in 3 vertical rows; the ultimate branchlets 0.5–1.5 mm broad. Synangia numerous, borne on the angles of the branchlets. Widespread but uncommon away from the coast. Epiphytic in RF or open forests or more commonly in crevices of sandstone cliffs.
