Glandular hairs absent or very few below the inflorescence. Leaves ovate to orbicular, 2–7 cm long, 2–4 cm wide; pubescent to almost glabrous, with up to 12 teeth on each side. Corolla 6–11 mm long, deflexed at less than a right angle. Perennial herb up to 1 m high with a fleshy tuberous base. Widespread. Rocky outcrops in gullies. Fl. most of the year
