Tall glabrous climber. Leaves alternate, ovate, 7–10 cm long, shortly acuminate, entire, with 5–7 principal veins arising from the base or near it. Flowers unisexual, axillary; male spikes cylindrical, 12–20 mm long; female spikes ovoid, shorter. Drupes stipitate. Coast. RF. Giant Pepper Vine
