Persicaria subsessilis (R.Br.) K.L.Wilson

Erect, loosely branched perennial. Stems with appressed rather long hairs. Leaves lanceolate, up to 9 cm long, sprinkled with appressed hairs. Petiole c. 2 mm long. Stipular sheaths longer than the petioles, bordered with long cilia 4–10 mm long. Spikes 2–5 cm long. Perianth petaloid, white. Coast and Cumberland Plain. Wet places. Fl. summer
