Ottochloa gracillima C.E.Hubb.

Spikelets with 1 bisexual floret, with either a sterile lemma or a male floret below it. Spikelets dorsally compressed, 2 mm long, disarticulating below the glumes. Glumes thinly membranous, usually glabrous, narrowly hyaline on the margins, equal or subequal, much shorter than the spikelet. Lower lemma usually with a shallow longitudinal depression on the back. Panicle 3–5 cm long , with 2–4 primary branches; the spikelets distant on the branches. Stems decumbent, rooting at the lower nodes. Culms up to 15 cm long; internodes 25–37 mm long. Leaf sheaths glabrous or rarely hispid; leaf blades c. 3.5 cm long and 4 mm wide. North from Gosford area. WSF. Fl. summer
