Leaves mostly opposite, linear, 4–7 mm wide, up to 10 mm long, entire, white-tomentose underneath. Heads on slender peduncles, solitary or few together in a loose corymb. Involucre 5–6 mm diam. Ray florets 8–10, white. Shrub up to 2 m high. Widespread. WSF and RF. Fl. chiefly spring
