Calyx c. 3 mm long. Diffuse shrub with slender branches up to 1 m long. Leaves up to 25 mm long, strongly reticulate, pungent, with recurved margins. Flowers several in axillary clusters. Corolla pink to purplish; standard c. 8 mm long. Ovules 2. Legume ovate, c. 5 mm long. Widespread. Common in heath. Sandy soils. Fl. spring
