Erect shrub with slender pubescent branches arising from a thick woody rootstock. Leaves pinnately 3-foliolate; leaflets linear-cuneate, 10–12 mm long, usually finely mucronate. Stipules small, subulate. Flowers c. 6 mm long, in clusters of 2–4. Calyx lobes rigid, very acute. Corolla pale pinkish purple. Legume sessile, nearly orbicular, 2–3 mm diam. indehiscent. Hartley; Minto; Richmond. Grasslands and open woodlands. Fl. summer–autumn
