Leptospermum macrocarpum (Maiden & Betche) Joy Thomps.

Capsule broader than long, 15–20 mm diam. Leaves broad-elliptic, mostly 10–20 mm long, 5–10 mm wide. Flowers c. 15–30 mm diam. Petals white to dark red. Shrub up to 2 m high, with hard bark. Blue Mts DSF and heath. Fl. spring–summer
