Bark hard and smooth. Leaves narrow-obovate to oblong, 13–23 mm long, 2–3 mm wide. Flowers 6–10 mm diam. Capsule c. 4 mm diam. Shrub up to 4 m high, with drooping branches. Blue Mts Open forest, mostly on granite. Fl. spring–summer
