Lastreopsis acuminata (Houlston) C.V.Morton

Upper pairs of primary pinnae without secondary pinnae arising from the main rhachis. Rhizome short, erect or oblique, with a dense crown of fronds, covered with the broken bases of the old stipes. Sori halfway between the midrib and the margin of the segments. Indusium dark brown, almost entire, lacking glandular hairs. Scales absent on the main rhachis. Plants 25–90 cm high. Widespread. RF and tall open forests, usually near creeks
