Guioa semiglauca (F.Muell.) Radlk.

Small to medium sized tree. Leaves pinnate; leaflets 2–4 (rarely 6), elliptic to obovate or narrow-ovate, obtuse, glabrous, entire, 4–8 cm long, Pale and glaucous underneath. Flowers in axillary panicles shorter than the leaves. Sepals orbicular; the inner ones 2 mm diam. Petals shorter than the sepals, with 2 cuneate hairy scales as long as the petal. Stamens exserted. Capsule 8–12 mm diam., deeply divided with divaricate compressed lobes, thin-walled, loculicidally dehiscent. Seeds with a thin aril. Coast and adjacent plateaus. RF
