Leaflets usually 20–30, 6–12 mm long, narrow-linear to narrow-elliptic, on an elongated rhachis 10–25 mm long. Stems not tuberculate. Calyx 5–6 mm long. Corolla yellow; standard slightly longer than the calyx. Ovules 8–10. Shrub 10–30 cm high, with thin branches. Coast and adj plateaus. Open forest and cleared areas. Sandy soils. Fl. spring–summer
