Erect shrub up to 2 m high; stems with stiff ± appressed hairs. Leaves elliptic to ovate, up to 8 cm long, finely toothed; petiole 1–3 mm long. Raceme 3–11-flowered, towards the ends of the branches. Sepals becoming white and ± fleshy in the fruiting stage. Corolla white, up to 4 mm long. Stamens 10, enclosed within the corolla tube. Fruit a capsule enclosed in the persistent sepals. Blue Mts, e.g. Mt Werong. Open forests; RF margins; gullies. Fl. spring–summer. White Waxberry
