Eucalyptus quadrangulata H.Deane & Maiden

Fruit with acute valves, ovoid campanulate or conical, c. 6 x 5 mm; disc narrow, flat. Large branches usually rough. Leaves 9–20 x 1–2 cm, sinuate-dentate; lateral veins irregular; angle 30–40°; intramarginal vein 1–2 mm from margin. Umbels 7-flowered; peduncles terete or compressed, 5–8 mm long. Operculum hemispherical or conical, c. as long as the floral tube. Tree up to 50 m high. Illawarra. WSF on deep soils, usually in sheltered places. Coastal White Box
