Eucalyptus punctata DC.

Tree up to c. 25 m high, sometimes gnarled and shrubby in poor soils in exposed situations. Leaves 6–10 x 2–3 cm. Umbels 7–11-flowered; peduncles usually compressed. Fruit 6–12 x 6–10 mm, pyriform to almost globular, pedicellate or almost sessile. Operculum conical, longer than the floral tube. Widespread, usually on sandy soils and shales in wetter areas. Fl. summer. Grey Gum.
