Fruit 6–8 mm diam, 5–9 mm long; disc flat, conspicuous; valves sometimes slightly exserted. Tree up to 20 m high. Umbels axillary. Bark rough at the base, smooth and whitish or yellowish and ribbony above. Leaves 9–12 x 2.5–3 cm, often glossy. Operculum conical to beaked, equal to or slightly longer than the floral tube.
