Fruit ± conical, tapering into the pedicel, 7–10 x 5–6 mm; valves enclosed or exserted; disc obscure. Tree up to 30 m high. Bark subfibrous, brick red or rusty or yellowish. Leaves 8–10 x 2–3.5 cm. Lateral veins roughly parallel; angle 45–65°. Umbels 7-flowered; peduncles compressed. Operculum hemispherical, much shorter than the floral tube. Dora Creek. WSF on heavy soils. Fl. summer.
