Disc flat or depressed; valves enclosed. Mallee up to 6 m high. Bark smooth, glaucous, sometimes with loose ribbons. Leaves coriaceous, green or glaucous, 14–17 x 2–4 cm. Lateral veins irregular; angle 30–40°; intramarginal vein 2–4 mm from margin. Umbels 7–11-flowered. Operculum acutely conical, as long as the floral tube.
