Perennial herb, usually prostrate. Stems up to 50 cm long. Leaves opposite, sessile or shortly petiolate, narrow-lanceolate, with short appressed hairs. Involucre 2–3 mm diam., on axillary peduncles 1–2 cm long; bracts herbaceous, in 2 rows. Ray florets female or sterile; ray 1–2 mm long, yellow, 2-lobed. Disc florets tubular, yellow. Cypselas cylindrical, tuberculate, light brown, 1–2 mm long. Pappus absent. Coast and Cumberland Plain. Swamps. Fl. summer. Yellow Twin-heads
