Creeping, stoloniferous, perennial herbs. Leaves trifoliolate, mostly radical; leaflets obovate, c. 3 cm long. Epicalyx and sepals green, c. 1 cm long. Petals yellow, shorter than the sepals. Fruit an achene. Receptacle at fruiting stage bright red, succulent, 12–15 mm diam.. Naturalized along the coast. Introd. from S. Asia. Indian Strawberry
