Erect, glabrous shrub or small tree. Leaves alternate, obovate to oblanceolate, 3–10 cm long, entire, tapering into a petiole. Flowers in a loose terminal panicle. Calyx broadly campanulate, with obtuse teeth. Corolla campanulate, c. 4 mm long, white to pale lilac; lobes rather shorter than the tube. Fruit a small globular berry 5–8 mm diam., purplish black. Coast; Illawarra ranges; Kurrajong district. RF. and WSF. Fl. spring. Corkwood
