Leaves thin, glabrous, mostly 5–15 mm long, a few larger, narrow- to broad-lanceolate. Branches slender; branchlets often spinescent. Flowers solitary, terminating short axillary shoots. Corolla 4 mm long. Fruit bright red. Shrub 2–4 m high. Illawarra district; Blue Mts, e.g. Mt Tomah, Mt Wilson. WSF. Fl. summer. Prickly Currant Bush
