4 species endemic Aust.; Qld, NSW, WA

Shrubs up to 1m high but usually less and sometimes straggling. Leaves opposite, decurrent, narrow-oblong to lanceolate, softly woolly underneath. Flowers irregular, solitary, axillary, almost sessile. Calyx deeply 5-lobed. Corolla bluish to greenish yellow, 2-lipped. Stamens 4. Ovary superior; placentas parietal, intruding into the loculus. Fruit a schizocarp with 2 mericarps.
