Shrubs, sometimes straggling and almost climbing. Leaves alternate, entire or obscurely toothed or undulate. Flowers in axillary or terminal cymes. Corolla trumpet-shaped to funnel-shaped, red, pink, orange, yellow-green to orange-yellow; the tube longer than the calyx. Stamens 5. Ovary 2-locular. Fruit a berry.
