Branchlets glabrous. Leaves rather thick, cuneate-obovate to oblong, up to 12 mm long, base attenuate. Flowers with 2 small bracteoles c. 5 mm long, under the calyx. Sepals ovate to lanceolate, 4–5 mm long. Corolla 4.5–9 mm long, white or pale blue; lobes spreading, broad. Capsule c. 4 mm long. Coast. Wet ground. Fl. spring–summer
