Austromyrtus tenuifolia (Sm.) Burret

Shrubs or small trees with smooth brown bark. Leaves opposite linear to linear-lanceolate, up to 4 cm long and 3 mm wide, with recurved margins, pubescent on lower surface, especially when young. Flowers with long pedicels arranged on short axillary branches or solitary, 5-merous. Corolla white. Stamens numerous, free, in several whorls. Ovary 2-locular with numerous ovules in each loculus. Fruit a berry white with dark spots. Coast and adjacent plateaus to Blue Mts Damp, sheltered places in forests on Ss. Fl. summer
