Astrotricha longifolia Benth. (coastal form)

Spreading many-branched shrub. Stems glabrescent and often purplish. Leaves narrow-lanceolate, 0.3–1 cm wide, thin, flat or nearly so, rather dull on the upper surface and lateral veins obscure. Inflorescence up to 60 cm long, axes purplish and glabrescent. Widespread on coast. DSF and gullies. Ss. Fl. spring–summer. (Individuals from the Sydney Basin have tessellate fruit and might represent a distinct taxon.)
