Small, spreading shrub up to 50 cm high, glabrous. Leaves linear, scattered, sessile, up to 20 mm long, pungent, with small lobed stipules. Flowers solitary in leaf axils, c. 2 mm diam, 5-merous. Ovary immersed in disc and appearing half-inferior, 2-locular, with 2 basal ovules per loculus. Fruit a capsule. Glen Davis. Ss. Endangered. Fl. spring
