Small tree. Leaves pinnate; leaflets 4–6, narrowed into very short petiolules, oblong or elliptic to lanceolate, acuminate, 6–12 cm long; venation prominent on the undersurface; margins sometimes toothed. Flowers in a loose panicle. Calyx c. 2 mm diam., with very short broad lobes. Ovary 2–3-locular. Fruit with distinct globular lobes, 8–10 mm diam. Widespread. RF. Native Quince
