Flowers yellow, 25–75 per head. Branchlets usually pruinose. Phyllodes usually glabrous with some hairs on pulvinus and occasionally mid vein, margins thick, base truncate to cordate. Legume 3–9 cm long, straight or curved, flat, usually pruinose. Sparsely branching shrub to 2 m high. Widespread. DSF. Fl. all year.
