Phyllodes obliquely triangular to obliquely obovate, up to 3 cm long, 10–15 mm wide, marginal gland distant from the base and close to the widest part of the phyllode. Flowers golden yellow; flower heads often ± ovoid. Legume straight, flat, up to 7 cm long, 4–7 mm wide. Shrub up to 4 m high. Hunter River Valley; a garden escape near habitation on the coast.
