Phyllodes compressed or tetragonous, mostly 13–25 mm long, c. 1 mm wide, Peduncles slender, up to 0.2 mm diam. Legume curved, 3–4 cm long, c. 3 mm wide, constricted between the seeds. Diffuse or sometimes prostrate shrub up to 1 m high. Widespread. Heath and DSF. Sandy soils and silts. Fl. spring–summer
