Phyllodes lanceolate to ovate, usually oblique, 6–18 mm long, 2–5 mm wide, rigid. Legume coiled or curved, up to 6cm long, constricted between the seeds on the suture lines, blackish. Spreading shrub up to 1.5 m high. North-western Hornsby Plateau; Hunter River Valley. Fl. winter–spring
