Lower surface of leaflets glabrous or with scattered stellate hairs, petiole 8–20 mm long. Leaflets narrow-elliptic to ovate, 2–5 cm long, 4–7 mm wide, with flat or slightly recurved margins. Flowers in loose cymes c. 8 cm diam. Petals pink to white. Erect shrub 1–2 m high. Widespread on a variety of soils, usually in cleared areas. Fl. spring Zieria smithii
