Older branches of plants with flaking bark. Upper surface of leaves grey-green. Young stems and leaves with stellate hairs. Juvenile leaves trifoliolate; adult leaves simple. Inflorescence with 2–3 rays, 1–4 flowers per ray. Fruit 2 mm long. Small compact shrub with many branches to 20 cm high. Jamison Valley. Sandstone cliffs. Vulnerable. Fl. summer Xanthosia scopulicola
