Leaves petiolate, lanceolate to narrow-ovate, or triangular, coarsely serrate, acute. Stems solid. Racemes up to 17 cm long with up to 20 flowers
Leaf bases truncate. Stems with mostly short rigid hairs. Corolla 3–8 mm long, white becoming mauve with age. Calyx lobes usually finely ciliate on margins and apex. In north of region. WSF and RF. Fl. spring–autumn Veronica grosseserrata
